The artist chose to portray a bas relief
salmon run as her imagery in this kiln-cast glass sculpture.
The glass was first melted in a zircar mold in kiln, then cooled
and placed into another mold. This was fired again in another
kiln to bend the glass. Rowe finds this process technically challenging
and very rewarding.
Blue, kiln-cast glass with bas relief of
salmon runnng up the river.
