Mel Munsen Red Vase This vase is made from Effetre cane and Murrini from Murano Italy. The piece originally was going to be an Incalmo neck on a black and white vase, but during the blowing process the artist thought it would be too busy, so he made the neck into a separate vase, which you see here. The black and white vase is still unfinished. Vase made with opaque red cane and black and white murrini picked up on a pastorelli and blown out. 10 x 3.5" - 2004 Photography by Ron Long
