Rafael Navarro Leiton
Orange Fish

This is one of the first attempts by Rafael Navarro Leiton to do the Incalmo technique of decorating glass. First, a clear ball is blown out of molten glass, then cooled down slowly in an annealer. The cold glass is painted with a high fire paint [Paradise paints] then reheated, picked up and blown out again into a plate.

16" Diameter, Blown glass incalmo technique.
