This is one of the first attempts by Rafael
Navarro Leiton to do the Incalmo technique of decorating glass.
First, a clear ball is blown out of molten glass, then cooled
down slowly in an annealer. The cold glass is painted with a
high fire paint [Paradise paints] then reheated, picked up and
blown out again into a plate.
