2008 Scholarships

The BCGAA utilizes their scholarships to promote growth within the association by inspiring new ways of looking at art and working in glass as an artistic medium. Both mid career and emerging artists have the opportunity to increase their abilities, techniques, and dialogues. The recipients of these scholarships are chosen as representatives of the BCGAA. As a condition of the award they must either make a presentation to the membership or write an article for the newsletter about their experience, submit a piece of their work in the next BCGAA art exhibition, and provide a few images of their work proceeding from the course they have taken. In addition, the recipients will be asked to be on the jury for the next Scholarship.
